CCN Health, Tenovi & Xandar Kardian Showcase Contactless RPM at HIMSS 2026
CCN Health, Tenovi, and Xandar Kardian join forces to bring contactless radar-based patient monitoring to memory care and skilled nursing facilities, with a live demonstration at HIMSS 2026.
CCN Health has partnered with Tenovi and Xandar Kardian to deliver contactless radar-based patient monitoring for memory care and skilled nursing facilities. The XK300 contactless vital signs monitor uses 60GHz radar to capture heart rate, respiratory rate, sleep patterns, and movement without any patient interaction, transmitting data through Tenovi's cellular gateway directly into the CCN Health platform for clinical review and Medicare billing.
CCN Health, Tenovi, and Xandar Kardian have formed a three-way technology partnership to deliver fully contactless patient monitoring purpose-built for memory care and skilled nursing facilities. The combined solution will be showcased at HIMSS 2026 in Las Vegas, marking the first public demonstration of the end-to-end data pipeline from bedside radar to clinical review platform.
The Partnership
Each company brings a distinct layer to the stack. Xandar Kardian manufactures the XK300 contactless vital signs monitor, a compact 60GHz radar device that captures physiological data without touching the patient. Tenovi provides the cellular-enabled medical device gateway that transports clinical-grade readings from the bedside to the cloud with no dependency on facility Wi-Fi or IT infrastructure. CCN Health operates the clinical monitoring and billing platform where registered nurses review incoming data, manage threshold-based alerts, coordinate care plans with facility staff and attending physicians, and handle Medicare documentation across all five reimbursable programs.
The result is a turnkey monitoring solution that a facility can deploy by placing two small devices in a resident's room — the XK300 sensor and the Tenovi gateway — with no wearables, no patient training, and no IT integration project.
How It Works
The XK300 is installed near the head of the patient's bed, typically mounted on a wall or placed on a nightstand. Using millimeter-wave radar operating at 60GHz, it continuously measures heart rate, respiratory rate, sleep stages, movement patterns, and bed presence through clothing, blankets, and bedding materials. The radar signal is non-ionizing and requires no calibration or patient interaction.
Readings transmit wirelessly from the XK300 to Tenovi's cellular gateway at configurable intervals. The gateway forwards structured vital sign data over its built-in LTE connection to the CCN Health platform, where it appears alongside data from traditional devices like blood pressure cuffs and weight scales. CCN Health's clinical team reviews the incoming data, escalates clinically significant changes to the facility's care team, and manages the billing lifecycle for RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring), CCM (Chronic Care Management), PCM (Principal Care Management), BHI (Behavioral Health Integration), and RTM (Remote Therapeutic Monitoring) programs.
Why Memory Care
Traditional remote patient monitoring programs depend on patient compliance. A resident must step on a scale, place a cuff on their arm, or clip on a pulse oximeter at regular intervals. For residents with moderate-to-severe cognitive impairment — the majority of the memory care population — that compliance barrier makes conventional RPM impractical or impossible.
The XK300 removes this barrier entirely. Monitoring happens passively, 24 hours a day, with zero patient burden. A resident with advanced dementia receives the same continuous physiological surveillance as a fully compliant patient using traditional devices. This opens remote monitoring revenue and clinical oversight to a population that has been largely excluded from Medicare's RPM reimbursement framework.
Beyond compliance, contactless monitoring addresses safety gaps specific to memory care. Overnight respiratory monitoring can surface early signs of aspiration or respiratory decline. Bed presence detection identifies wandering events or prolonged absence. Movement pattern analysis over weeks establishes baselines that make subtle functional decline visible to clinical teams before it progresses to a fall or hospitalization.
HIMSS 2026
The three companies will present the contactless monitoring solution at HIMSS 2026 in Las Vegas. Attendees will be able to see a live demonstration of the full data pipeline — from the XK300 capturing radar-based vitals to clinical data appearing on the CCN Health platform in near real time.
The demonstration is designed for senior living operators, skilled nursing facility administrators, healthcare IT leaders, and managed care organizations evaluating contactless monitoring for their post-acute populations. Representatives from all three companies will be available to discuss implementation timelines, reimbursement models, and integration with existing EHR systems including PointClickCare, ALIS, Epic, and athenahealth.
About CCN Health
