CCN Health Partners with Tenovi for Cellular-Connected RPM Devices

LOS ANGELES, CA — April 12, 2023 — CCN Health today announced a partnership with Tenovi, a cellular-connected remote patient monitoring device platform. The partnership gives CCN Health customers access to Tenovi's full device lineup with built-in cellular connectivity, eliminating the WiFi dependency that has historically limited RPM adoption among elderly and rural patient populations.

Cellular Connectivity Removes the WiFi Barrier

Tenovi's devices ship with embedded cellular radios that connect to nationwide carrier networks out of the box. Patients take a reading and the data transmits automatically to the CCN Health platform — no WiFi password entry, no Bluetooth pairing, no smartphone app required. This is a significant advantage for senior living communities where residents may not have personal WiFi, and for home-based patients in areas with limited broadband access.

The device lineup available through the partnership includes blood pressure cuffs, weight scales, pulse oximeters, and glucose meters. Each device is preconfigured before shipment to a specific patient, meaning the device arrives ready to use with no technical setup required by the patient or facility staff.

Automatic Data Transmission and Clinical Workflows

When a patient takes a measurement, the Tenovi device captures the reading, timestamps it, and transmits it via cellular to Tenovi's cloud infrastructure. From there, the data flows into the CCN Health platform where it is matched to the patient record, checked against clinical thresholds, and made available for clinician review.

Readings that fall outside configured thresholds trigger automated alerts to the care team. The entire chain from measurement to alert happens without any manual data entry, reducing the documentation burden on nursing staff and ensuring that abnormal readings are surfaced promptly.
